Drawing inspiration from nature and man’s influence on nature, the project concept is a mixture between the Hibiscus and the ancient art of Grafting plants. The Hibiscus is Korea’s traditional flower, and an object of deep affection. It is the “external blossom that never fades” and has been an important symbol of Korean culture for centuries. Koreans cherish the national flower because it honours the country’s noble spirit and symbolizes the many successes as well as tribulations that the nation has experienced.
